The Boulevard
Street performers
The boulevard is a great way to get out. The boulevard has everything from shops, to restaurants and
hotels all near by. The shops here are incredible for souvenir buying or just looking around for a past time. The architecture around here is beautiful and there are many interesting statues and sight seeing places around here including many local street performers. Although at certain times, it can be busy walking down the Boulevard is fun for the whole family and how much you spend is entirely up to you.
Angel Falls
Angel Falls
It is the world's highest uninterrupted waterfall, with a height of 979 m (3,212 ft) and a plunge of 807 m (2,648 ft). The waterfall drops over the edge of the Auyantepui mountain in the Canaima National Park.The waterfall has been "Angel Falls" for most of the twentieth century, named after James Angel, a US aviator who was the first to fly over the falls in a plane This is a great sight seeing place because it is almost classified as one of the 7 wonders of the world. Angel Falls is completely breath taking and is a must see when traveling to Caracas Venezuela. It costs nothing to see the falls and can be seen anytime in the year. Kids will love to see the sight as well as the adults.
Warairarepano
Cable Cars on Warairarepano
The Warairarepano is a large mountain in Caracas. The area's highest elevation is Pico Naiguatá, at 2,765 meters (9,072 ft) above sea level.This mountain rises north of the capital Caracas located in a narrow valley 950 meters (3,120 ft) above sea level and separates the city from the Caribbean Sea. The mountain is accessible by cable car (teleferico), by off-road vehicle or on foot.
Mostly people like to use the cable car to reach the top of the mountain for the environmental feel. But people who do not want to spend much money will travel by foot or by the car .Once on top there are different options, like a small trip on a 4W to the next door town Galipan where you can taste the fabulous and very popular sandwich of pernil. Another option is to take a very romantic 500 m walk to the very top on the beautiful path with the European style fog lights. At the end you will be able to take a look at the Hotel Humbolt- an antique tower from the 50’s that is kept as a museum and that is visible from all over the city! While walking, do not forget to eat some strawberries/peaches and cream! This is a must see, and the view from atop the mountain is breath taking. Also the kids will love it because of the cable car. This journey is one of the best photo opportunities in all of Venezuela and should be taken into consideration.

Teatrex
The Teatrex is a very popular place in Caracas. Teatrex is a theater where plays, musical and musical performances are put on for the public. It is located in a high end mall named Paseo El Hatillo on the 5th floor. The fifth floor contains places such as boutiques and expensive shops. It is classified to be very high end and fancy. It is open from Sunday to Wednesday. Because it is so high end, the prices are also very high.The theater has 203 very comfortable leather seats, handicapped seating, valet parking service, ticket sales via telephone, and at the box office.

Béisbol (baseball) is the local sporting obsession. Professional-league games are played from October to February at this 18,500-seat stadium, home to the Leones de Caracas. Check the team out at: www.leones.com. Tickets may be purchased up until game time, usually 7:30pm Tuesday to Friday nights, 6pm Saturday and 4:30pm Sunday; or in advance between 10am and 5pm Monday to Friday at Galerias El Recreo in Sabana Grande. Ticket princes range from $60-$120. It is located approximately 15 minutes away from the central city of Caracas. A great choice for everyone to enjoy and to watch an all American sport.
